If you take the tracks to the right you will go through some more woodland , which then opens up to a wide green area with the road to Beaulieu in the far distance. Large herds of deer frequent this area ,often gathering in the lowest spots to the right and left along the treeline. We were delighted to spot a white deer – a very special sight.

This walk incudes some streams and boggy patches, but makes a lovely addition or extension to a walk from Ranswood or Hawkhill. There are some enchanting narrow tracks through the woods and this is a really quiet unspoilt place to explore.
